BRAINY explores the biographical experiences of Polish-born scholars working abroad. Through autobiographical interviews, memoirs, and personal narratives, the project examines how internationally mobile academics imagine places, academic systems, and their own migration trajectories.
Focusing on Polish scholars in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia, the project investigates the relationships between migration, knowledge production, academic careers, and geographical imaginaries.
